Denver Water is hiring an Emergency Management Operations Specialist. This is a hybrid position with at least 2 in-office days a week.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Lead the Emergency Management and Security Operations program, to include:
- Develop, plan, equip, and maintain primary, alternate, and hybrid Emergency Operations Center (EOC) capabilities
- Assist in the coordination of training and development of EOC staff based on National Incident Management System (NIMS) standards and requirements
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and train staff to utilize the Incident Command System (ICS) to perform field emergency response operations
- Conduct incident investigations and after-action reviews for incidents involving Denver Water critical infrastructure
- Facilitate debriefs and write reports and conduct gap analysis and process for improvement following all incidents/emergencies
- Act as liaison between Denver Water and contracted security provider/s, ensure security provider/s are maintaining compliance with contract, and coordinate contract invoicing
